Executive recruitment is a sales-driven industry in which recruiters work to sell top talent on opportunities with client organizations. Some of the most successful performers in executive search have deep technical experience in the spaces where they now recruit. Enter Peter Uber, the newest addition to the Charles Aris team of recruiting practice leaders.

Uber will focus on recruiting A-level Sales & Marketing leaders on behalf of hiring authorities in his Food & Beverage client organizations. He brings an extensive background in shaping sales and marketing programs for a variety of organizations including DC Publishing and Trinico Ag.

“I have a strong understanding of the needs of our clients because I have served in similar capacities for my former employers,” Uber said. “I offer both implied and directly applicable experience that will enable me to quickly and effectively solve my client’s most pressing needs.”

In addition to his technical sales and marketing skill set, Uber holds a unique blend of traits which are sure to help guide his journey with the firm: an understanding of the client perspective, experience as both a hiring authority and candidate, and the ability to effectively streamline communications between participating parties. Each of these attributes enables him to effectively match leading candidates with client organizations.

“My goal is to help companies in the Food & Beverage industry solve their problems through personnel solutions,” Uber said. “The opportunity to connect with individuals and companies and solve their unique needs is something I am passionate about.”

Whether it’s identifying an A-player to launch a product, penetrating a new marketplace, or targeting a new consumer base, Uber and his team are primed to efficiently identify, attract and deliver top talent using the Charles Aris 14-Step Priority Search Process.

The Charles Aris Food & Beverage industry practice partners closely with client organizations to add functional expertise across Strategy & Corporate Development and Sales & Marketing. The Food & Beverage recruiting practice, led by Charles Aris senior practice leader Jill Jitima, has completed 106 searches for more than 20 clients.

Uber directly partners with Charles Aris senior practice leader Sarah Becker, a Sales & Marketing and Engineering & Operations expert who helps lead the firm’s Private Equity and Consumer recruiting practices.

“I’m fortunate to partner with Sarah, who brings a wealth of problem-solving experience to the table,” Uber said. “Our Food & Beverage and Sales & Marketing teams are comprised of seasoned executive recruiting consultants, and we’re excited to combine their efforts for the betterment of our clients.”

Uber is originally from Alexandria, Virginia but moved to Williamsport, Pennsylvania early in life. He attended Clarion University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education with a minor in computer science. He then moved to North Carolina, where he taught elementary school for three years in the Piedmont Triad region.

Uber and his wife, who have been married since 2000, have three sons. A passionate follower of ACC basketball, Peter coaches his sons’ youth basketball teams. He enjoys spending time with his family and German shepherd, Greta, and traveling whenever possible.
